Purchasing and Shipping

Lately, my Instagram DMs, email, and phone have been blowing up with scam messages. More specifically, check scam messages. In the interest of proactivity, here is a breakdown of purchasing and shipping information:

  1. I accept the following for payment of any works sold or commissioned: Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Cash. I WILL NOT accept checks unless you, the buyer, are local and verifiable and our transaction is taking place in-person. This is applicable to any private buyers outside of galleries, museums, or other such establishments in which I, the artist, am beholden to the terms and conditions of those establishments respectively. No exceptions. I will not ask for payment until a work is completed; however, payment is expected in full before the work is shipped. If this is potentially problematic, you may opt to pay half upfront as a deposit with the other half expected before shipping.

  2. There is no separate cost for shipping paid by clients. The price for a work shall be set to accommodate shipping costs. This makes it simpler for all parties involved. Shipping will typically be handled by UPS or FedEx, whichever happens to be more local; tracking information will be provided.

  3. Commissions will be completed on a first-come, first-served basis. Please understand that as I am simultaneously working, volunteering, and pursuing advanced study, turnaround times may be upwards of a month. I will do my best to finish commissions as soon as possible, but I’m only human with so many hours in a day. If for any reason a commission will take longer than projected, I will be in constant communication.

  4. NO REFUNDS. A work will not leave my possession and be sent to you, the buyer, unless it has been approved, thus, the option for refund would be frivolous. An exception will be made for works that are destroyed in shipping pending photographic evidence of the incident.

  5. Cancellations: you maintain the right to cancel your transaction or commission within three days, after which, your solicitation of my services will be deemed “locked in.”

  6. Any further questions or concerns, email me at jeedenart@gmail.com

  7. I, Jeffrey Eden, reserve the right to alter any of the above terms as I deem fit in the interest of sound business and ethical practice. I also maintain the right to cancel any transaction or commission at my discretion if a client violates any of the above terms and conditions or if said client engages in behavior (communicative or otherwise) deemed inappropriate or unbecoming of my work and business practices.
